Dr. Shanita "Nita B" Brown is a motivational leader specializing in character and strategic leadership development. She empowers leaders through coaching, training, speaking, and teaching. With over eighteen years of leadership experience, Dr. Brown emphasizes that true leadership starts with leading oneself first.
Dr. Brown is dedicated to the essence of leadership, which she believes gives leaders, leadership, and organizations their purpose. She states, "Leadership is spiritual because it is transcendent; when done right, the transformative power of the leader inspires, influences, and empowers others to be their best."
Her leadership research has yielded a proven coaching model and leadership development curriculum that focus on self-awareness, developing transformative skills, and engaging others by unlocking and maximizing their potential in character and competence. Dr. Brown's C.O.D.E coaching model and C.O.D.E leadership development curriculum have been featured at international leadership conferences.
Dr. Brown has been featured in various print and broadcast outlets, including KLTV (Tyler), Voyage Magazine (Dallas), Southwest Now Magazine, and The Joe Crawford Show (Canada). She also hosted the award-winning radio show "The Nita B Experience" and the TV show "The Shanita Brown Show."
Additionally, Dr. Brown is a Bible teacher, licensed minister, and certified life and leadership coach, continuing her coaching credentials with Coaches Edge and Christian Coaches Network (CCNI). As a dynamic and influential empowerment speaker, her messages inspire and challenge audiences to be their best selves.
Dr. Brown holds a B.A. in Broadcast Communications, an M.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies, and a Doctoral degree in Strategic Leadership from Regent University. She is the founder of Shanita Brown Empowers, Inc. & Generation Elevate, Inc.
In her spare time, Dr. Brown enjoys reading, exploring nature, engaging in adventurous activities, singing karaoke, and spending time with family and friends. A music enthusiast, she began rapping at age 12, has recorded numerous songs, and headlined several local concerts.
